Strategic Plan Process & Acknowledgements

Our Organization’s Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats

In analyzing the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) for The Washington Center, market and socioeconomic trends as well as the changing demography, the new strategic direction for The Washington Center aims to create a better ecosystem, building solutions for higher education, employers, and the federal government, not just students—and all with access and inclusion top of mind.

We've updated our thinking through the strategic planning process to acknowledge that, to achieve our mission, we'll need to develop new and updated models for learners, education, and the workplace that reflect and address the challenges and opportunities of today and tomorrow.

15,000

Employers, alumni, staff, Board of Trustees and higher education partners provided feedback and counsel to the process.

15

Countless

This plan is the result of the dedicated counsel and hard work of many in The Washington Center community. Input from the Board of Trustees, students, alumni, staff, higher education partners, employers and donors helped to guide the work.
