Invest In Your Future Workforce

The saying goes that if you have a college degree, you have a job.

For today’s graduates, though, that saying doesn’t ring true: 53% are unemployed or working in a job that doesn't require a bachelor's degree, and only 27% have landed a job that's related to their college major.*

The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars (TWC) is working to change that situation by bridging the gap between higher education and meaningful careers. Of the students who complete our program, 76% are employed** in their industry within six months of graduation.

We can’t do that alone

We need your help to provide these students with the experience they need to launch into successful careers.

“My internship was an exciting opportunity to experience political communications in a professional environment on a daily basis. It really helped me decide one, to plant my roots in D.C., and two, to change course from my planned, more academic route. TWC was pretty vital in helping me realize what I wanted to do next.”
