Strategic Areas of Focus & Goals
In alignment with the new mission and vision statement, the strategic plan is focused on three macro areas of work.
Measuring Impact
The first two areas of focus are mission-based, and the third is critical to lead TWC with best practices, strengthened fiscal sustainability, innovation and strong governance.
For the plan to ultimately be successful, TWC will regularly analyze data to outcomes to drive our decisions. This means that beyond the focal areas and goals, tactics and objectives around the goals will be included as well as a comprehensive implementation plan for accountability year over year.
In addition to establishing metrics to assess our progress, we’ll become disciplined and intentional in measuring the impact of our work on learners, education and business with outcomes and not only outputs. Ultimately, we want qualitative and quantitative data to show how TWC is moving the needle in advancing social and economic mobility and to use this information to continuously improve our mission work and solutions.
“The professional development sessions gave me the language, strategies and skills to effectively communicate my own strengths. As a result, I’m better positioned to determine what I’m looking for in a career and how to market myself as an asset to prospective employers.”
